Explore The Trades is delivering information about plumbing, HVAC, and electrical directly to students throughout North America. Founded in 2005, Explore The Trades is committed to developing the next generation of a skilled workforce by changing the perception of the trades. The organization creates awareness of the trades through key industry statistics, career resources and connections with industry-leading residential service companies throughout North America.  

In 1926, F.M. Cockrell started Business News Publishing Co., now BNP Media, in Detroit. First published September 11, 1926, Electric Refrigeration News, now The Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration NEWS, was created to help recognize the importance of the expanding electric refrigeration market.

The International Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Foundation (IWSH) unites manufacturers, product innovators, researchers, plumbers, and NGOs to protect health and advance well-being through plumbing. We bring clean drinking water and safe sanitation to marginalized communities that are underserved and under-resourced. IWSH works with local partners and prominent members of the community to address real problems, delivers cost-effective plumbing system design that meets all local codes and standards, and provides the necessary education to assure improved and sustained access to clean water, safe sanitation, and adequate hygiene services. 

 The International Code Council is the leading global source of model codes and standards and building safety solutions that include product evaluation, accreditation, technology, training, and certification. The Code Council's codes, standards, and solutions are used to ensure safe, affordable, and sustainable communities and buildings worldwide. Our mission is to provide the information, tools, and resources that members rely on, building safety professionals turn to, and the public trusts.
